A man has been charged with trafficking about $40,000 worth of methamphetamines after police raided two neighbouring units in Springvale. Greater Dandenong tasking unit members seized 26 grams of methamphetamines as well as four ecstasy pills and $300 worth of cannabis from the Erica Street units on March 14. Another 35 grams of methamphetamines was found in a vehicle at the units. Police also discovered $27,400 cash, as well as laptops, jewellery and cameras. Dien Cong Nguyen, 43, of Erica Street, Springvale, appeared in Dandenong Magistrates Court charged with trafficking methamphetamines and possession of ecstasy, cannabis and the proceeds of crime.
