'Super moon' lights up Mt Dandenong skies

THE moon appeared much
bigger and brighter than usual when it crossed our skies on Sunday night.

The moon made its annual
closest crossing from about 357,000 kilometres above Earth, inspiring
photographers throughout the world.

This image of the ‘super
moon’ was captured from Mt Dandenong by photographer Rob Carew.
