Baseball bat car theft

By Casey Neill

Two men brandishing a baseball bat brought their victim to a stop and stole his car in Keysborough.
The victim, aged 30, was driving north on Corrigan Road, Keysborough, to pick up a friend about 10.30pm on Monday 3 July in a silver 2007 Renault Megane.
He turned right from Corrigan Road into Narellan Drive.
A white Nissan Skyline with black rims passed him on the right, on the wrong side of the road, then stopped in front of his car.
Two men got out of the Skyline armed with a baseball bat and told the victim to get out of his car.
He complied, and one of the men got into the Megane while the other returned to the Skyline.
They both drove off towards Corrigan Road.
Police appealed for anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
