A 19-YEAR-OLD Noble Park man will front court charged with multiple traffic offences following a police pursuit this week.
On Sunday at 2.15am police attempted to pull over a car in Halton Road, Noble Park.
Police spokesperson Senior Constable Michael Henry said the car took off and travelled a short distance to Elonera Road where it and a party bus driving along the Princes Highway collided.
“Both vehicles were damaged as a result,” he said.
The car’s teenaged driver was taken to Dandenong Hospital with minor injuries, while the 57-year-old bus driver was treated for shock but was not injured.
Police later arrested a 19-year-old Noble Park man on charges of reckless conduct endangering life, theft of number plates, manner dangerous and other traffic offences.
The man will front Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 30 May.
