THE Noble Park Bulls snatched a thrilling five-point victory from Lilydale in their Eastern Football League First Division match at Lilydale Sports Oval on Saturday.
Lilydale led by 13 points at three-quarter time, but the Bulls charged home to record an important victory.
A Gavin Vassallo goal in the last quarter put the Bulls in front, and from there the team was disciplined enough to secure the four premiership points.
The two sides were unbeaten going into the match, and the one-kick win to Noble Park has secured the Bulls top spot on the EFL ladder.
Vermont is the only other side that remains unbeaten in the competition.
Rob Ferraro was instrumental in the Bulls’ win, providing Noble Park with drive through the midfield and booting two important goals.
Noble Park returns to Pat Wright Oval on Saturday to play the winless Mitcham in a game that should serve as a percentage-booster for the Bulls.
