LYNDALE Secondary college will hold an evening of food, art, and wine next Thursday.
Kicking off at 7pm and finishing at 9pm, the art festival extravaganza will showcase the students’ artistic talents.
Principal Russel Davies said the college held an international night with great success earlier this year and was hoping the community would also get aboard its art festival.
“The kids are really excited that they finally get an opportunity to display their talents to a broader range of people,” he said.
“We’ve got so much talent here, and it’s such a great feeling to be able to share it.”
The school is promoting the night as one to be spent with family and friends, just like attending an art gallery.
Student art leader Marita Lofthouse said it would not only be students’ work on show.
“There are also some very talented teachers who are keen to show their stuff,” she said.
