Man bashed with chain

A 21-YEAR-old man was bashed with a chain and suffered head injuries in Keysborough last weekend.
Police said the man and a 25-year-old friend were walking through a park near Bloomfield Road when the two men noticed a party.
Police said the two men joined the party and “all went well for a short time”.
A group of party-goers then clashed with the two men, and one of the group members bashed the 21-year-old with a chain.
The man was taken to The Alfred hospital in a non-life threatening condition with a head injury.
The 25-year-old man was not injured in the incident.
