DANDENONG firm MJC Partners has slipped into BRW’s list of Australia’s top 100 accountants.
MJC Partners joined the big names of the industry including Price Waterhouse Coopers, Ernst and Young, KPMG and Deloitte in the Australian business magazine’s top 100.
The business was established in 1980, and one of its founding partners Bryan James said the firm’s base in the southeastern suburbs had enabled it to maintain strong links with local businesses.
“We pride ourselves on being able to give our valued clients advice and service they may expect from citybased firms while maintaining our contact and knowledge with the various industries that survive and prosper in Melbourne’s outer suburbs,” Mr James said.
“We have been able to build up a great deal of expertise in many of the industries that are prevalent in the south eastern suburbs such as manufacturing, food and engineering.”
Another partner, David Carlson, said the firm was entering into a critical phase in its history.
“We have an opportunity to build on the fantastic client base we have as well as the professional team of advisers we have been able to bring together.
“Our strategic and financial diagnostic tools, customer service strategies, performance improvement methodologies and people development systems are just not available from other accounting and consulting firms.”
MJC Partners was one of the smallest firms to make the list, entering at number 98.
