NOBLE PARK Country Women’s Association (CWA) is sending delegates to a national CWA conference in Darwin next Monday as the organisation struggles to survive.
As well as considering craft, fundraising and helping others, the ladies will also be looking to their future as they find it increasingly difficult to recruit new members to their groups.
The ladies, from left, including Yvonne Smith, Rhnda Spencer, Judith Miller and Rose Gothard say more women are working and for longer hours, and that Greater Dandenong’s multicultural landscape is making it more difficult to recruit CWA members.
