BROOKLYN company Baron Forge Constructions has been awarded the contract to carry out streetscape works at the new Red Drum Theatre in Dandenong.
At Monday night’s Greater Dandenong Council meeting the $370,282 contract was approved, with the project set to consist mainly of civil works.
The project includes concreting works, paving, and drainage and road works around the 530seat performing arts centre at the corner of Walker Street and Lonsdale Street, Dandenong.
The overall project is scheduled to be completed by November, with the first public performance at the theatre to be held in February next year.
