Seven people face charges ranging from theft through to deception and are due to appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 23 March.
Victoria Police from Dandenong, Cranbourne and Footscray conducted Operation Vogue in conjunction with fraud investigators from an unnamed major department store.
Detectives from Cranbourne’s Crime Investigation Unit lead Operation Vogue’s investigations.
Six search warrants were executed in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne, including in Dandenong, on 9 January.
