Armed men tackled by Noble Park residents

TWO armed men who allegedly forced their way into a Noble Park home at 4.30pm on Saturday, July 6, were tackled by the three residents, including two women, police said. 

Acting Detective Sergeant Luke Kirton alleged the men were armed with two knives and a hand gun when they scuffled with the women, aged 37 and 22, and a man, 19, in the Chandler Road unit. 

No one was injured. 

A Rowville man, 27, was interviewed and released by police pending further investigation.
