A WOMAN was taken to Dandenong Hospital with minor injuries after the car she was driving crashed into a tree on Heatherton Road early on Saturday morning.
The white Holden Commodore left the road near Stevenson Avenue, Dandenong, and first hit a power pole before crashing into the tree about 2.05am.
Dandenong Country Fire Authority’s Rescue Unit was called to the scene to cut the vehicle and free the woman, while the Dandenong Pumper provided fire protection.
Police and two Metropolitan Ambulance Service units also attended.
The woman was the sole occupant of the car.
