VOLUNTEERS planted more than 430 native trees at Bunurong Memorial Park last weekend.
The planting took place along the Bangholme cemetery’s EastLink boundary and included river red gums and allo casurinas.
Dreary weather conditions at the 6 July event didn’t stop children and adults from lending a hand to beautify the site, which Southern Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust manages.
