TWO women have been charged following an alleged assault on a bus driver in Dandenong on 29 November.
A 22-year-old woman has been charged with unlawful assault, indecent assault and wilful damage while a 40-year-old woman has been charged with intentionally causing injury, recklessly causing injury, unlawful assault and wilful damage.
The older woman has also been charged with the alleged assault of another female bus passenger.
Both women are from Noble Park and had boarded the bus at Cranbourne railway station.
They have been bailed to appear at the Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 18 March.
The bus was travelling the 893 route from Cranbourne Shopping Centre to the station, and picked up the women at Dandenong Plaza Shopping Centre about 2.50pm.
