Firebug flees wetlands

POLICE are searching for a man who lit a fire at the Melbourne Water Wetlands in Dandenong last weekend.
A man was seen putting bark and other items on the fire in the Falkiner Crescent wetlands about 4pm on Saturday 2 May.
The man fled on a dark coloured push bike after being disturbed by witnesses.
The suspect is believed to be aged in his 30s, has an athletic build, is roughly 170 centimeres tall with olive skin, and was wearing a grey hoodie and darks shorts at the time.
CFA crews were called in to extinguish the fire.
