STUDENTS at Wallarano Primary School in Noble Park learnt about children battling cancer and other illness in a fun and positive way when the Camp Quality puppets visited last week.
The McDonald’s Camp Quality Puppet Program is Camp Quality’s educational platform for teaching young children about terminal or serious illness, and raise awareness to the fact that people as young as they could be battling one.
The program has been running since 1998 and uses life-sized puppets to illustrate the Camp Quality message.
Camp Quality says the puppets were originally used for cancer patients returning to school following treatments to help them understand why they looked different.
