FAMILY histories are just a click away at Greater Dandenong Libraries.
The Dandenong and Springvale branches are promoting their family history research resources to celebrate History Week, 18 to 25 October.
Dandenong Library will host two sessions to introduce users to library resources including Ancestry, Find My Past and the new dedicated family history computer and microfiche reader.
These will be held from 10am to 11am on Monday 19 October and 6.30pm to 7.30pm on Wednesday 21 October.
Springvale Library will host a drop-in session to cover Ancestry and Find My Past from 10am to 11am on Friday 23 October.
Online family history resources often charge a membership fee but library members can access Ancestry and Find My Past free of charge.
