Dandenong-built trams will soon be ferrying passengers from Docklands to Bundoora.
E-Class trams will make their debut on Route 86 next month.
Bombardier is building 70 of the longer, low-floor trams for the State Government, with 41 already running along Routes 96 and 11.
Each can carry 210 passengers when full, and features audio and visual passenger information, air-conditioning, improved safety features and dedicated spaces for passengers with mobility aids or prams.
