YOGA needs tranquil settings and in Dandenong there is no better place than the Heritage Hill Museum and Historic Gardens.
Hosted by Narelle Jackson of Frogs n’ Socks, classes are intimate with a maximum of 10 people and are tailored to all fitness and experience levels.
The Frogs n’ Socks philosophy is about embracing a healthy lifestyle and restoring inner balance through the use of organic and natural health therapies.
“I offer a gentle approach to yoga which is restorative, soothing and adaptive to individual needs,” Ms Jackson said.
“The yoga class will provide an excellent foundation and background to postures, breath and meditation and is ideal for those who would like to regain some balance in a stressful lifestyle – as well as help to promote flexibility and strength.”
All classes run for approximately one hour and will be held inside Heritage Hill’s gallery space in Benga, except for warm sunny days when classes will take place in the gardens.
Bookings are essential, and cost is $110 per eight week program or $15 casual rate per class.
Full program cost includes eight one-hour classes and herbal tea refreshments.
Concession rates are available.
