CELEBRATIONS in Dandenong North soon turned sour at a party over the weekend.
Police are investigating a stabbing that left a 17-year-old with serious injuries after he was involved in a verbal dispute with a group of partygoers at a house in Blackmore Street and left the premises around 12.30am. He was allegedly followed by around 20 youths to Maddison Drive where he was stabbed multiple times to the back and chest. The group fled before police arrived.
The Mulgrave youth was taken to The Alfred hospital with a collapsed lung and multiple stab wounds.
