MORE than 120 guests attended the fourth annual President’s Awards Night at the Dandenong RSL last week to honour exemplary members and staff.
The awards night was the fourth annual event, but was the first time the event was held since the Cranbourne and Dandenong RSLs amalgamated.
General manager Graham Keating said it was a great night and was delighted that special guests attended, including Minister for Veterans Affairs Alan Griffin, RSL State Honorary Treasurer John Cullen, representatives from the Vietnamese community and other RSL clubs and families of staff and members.
“It was a good opportunity to recognise people who have shown exemplary service, loyalty and honesty to the RSL,” Mr Keating said.
