Their arrival coincides with the International Year of the Nurse, with the theme this year of ‘honouring voices, values and wisdom’.
An additional 38 general nurses will begin their duties in April and August intakes. Twenty-three graduate midwives started last week working across three Southern Health sites including Dandenong, Clayton and Casey and will rotate into all areas of maternity services.
