YOUNG victims of sexual assault can access important information on a new Southern Health website.
Southern Health’s South Eastern Centre Against Sexual Assault (SECASA) recently launched www.secasakids.com.au, which provides information about sexual assault and family violence for young people.
SECASA manager Carolyn Worth said the website was made possible through a grant of $60,000 from the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation.
She said the website is aimed at 12 to 18-year-olds and provides information and a first point of contact with counsellors.
Victorian Child Safety Commissioner Bernie Geary spoke at the launch congratulating SECASA on offering such a vital service.
