Principal Martin Culkin said the school hosted a series of celebrations for the students to recognise their hard work and give them time to relax before they hit the books to exam study.
Students celebrated their final week with a fun concert, then went on a special trip to Gumbuya Park at Tynong yesterday (Wednesday) and will have their final gathering at a formal dance tonight (Thursday).
“We don’t have muck up day at school, instead we have been taking students to Gumbuya Park for the past seven years,” he said.
“Gumbuya Park has a lot of interesting things for the students to do and see. It’s a better alternative and they really enjoy it.”
Mr Culkin said student would attend a school assembly today (Thursday) where the focus would be on them.
“The series of activities allows students to finish their school in a tasteful way,” he said.
“The assembly a big deal for them and shows the younger students that one day they will be in the same place too.”
