Burden Park faces stern test

BURDEN Park’s premier league team had its work cut out when taking on the league’s top side, Darebin, and went down 76-102.
After a great start to the season and a home win against the Canadian international team, Burden Park will need to get back to winning ways to have a chance of finals action.
The second side continued in great form and showed brilliant touch on the green to beat Vermont South 102-95.
Looking to redeem a one-shot loss the previous week, the third side trounced Carrum 123-93.
David Clarke’s rink of W. Irvine, N. Turner and W. Frazer led the way with a 43-18 victory.
The up-and-down season of the fourth side continued at Cranbourne when Burden Park lost 77-102.
The fifth side could not maintain its winning streak beyond two weeks and this week faltered 78-115 against Mentone.
The sixth side lost to Mulgrave 84-100.
