A DANDENONG company has joined a partnership to help roll out solar power in the state.
With Victoria leading the nation in rates of solar uptake, renewable energy company Ingenero launched a national installer program on last week, signing its first local partnership agreement with Dandenong’s Solar Elec Services.
The company services the greater Melbourne area and has five expert crews capable of installing an average of $1 million in solar panels each month.
Solar Elec Services sales and marketing director Matt Jones said the company identified Ingenero as a potential partner because of its strong commitment to quality and consistency.
“Ingenero is a company that uses a high quality product and is always innovating,” he said.
“We are keen to do whatever we can to ensure every solar customer in Melbourne gets the best in solar technology, system performance and ongoing support.
“Like us, the company has a strong drive towards community education. They also want to empowered residents to take up solar energy, through working with the community, councils and holding community information sessions.”
Ingenero chief executive Steve McRae said the national installer program was designed to deliver the highest quality product and installation to regional and city communities and to support local businesses.
“Ingenero wants customers to have the experience of knowing their installer is a local business and will look after them through the installation and beyond,” he said.
