Armed man robs video store

POLICE are searching for witnesses following a robbery at a Dandenong North video store.
Police said a man with a knife entered the store on Outlook Drive at 7.30pm on Boxing Day and demanded cash.
He was wearing a long dark blue hooded ECKE top, a balaclava, blue tracksuit pants and white runners with blue heels.
He threatened to kill the attendant before getting away with a small amount of money.

Pharmacy hold-up
WITNESSES have been urged to come forward after a man held up a pharmacy in Dandenong North in broad daylight.
A man wearing a black motorbike helmet and armed with a carving knife entered the Outlook Drive pharmacy at 2pm on 30 December.
Police said he took money from the store before fleeing the scene on a pushbike. There were two customers in the store at the time.
Police are looking for a man described as 173cm tall and of thin build. He was wearing a dirty white jacket, dark jeans and gloves.

Bikes stolen

THREE bikes, two of which were recently reported stolen, have been recovered from a Dandenong address.
They included a Malvern Star mountain bike stolen from Bears Bikes in Cranbourne last month, a green DH Comp worth $3700 stolen from the Bicycle Superstore on the Princes Highway, Dandenong, at Christmas, and an unidentified silver mountain bike with no markings.
A man and a woman, both in their 30s, were arrested after the bikes were discovered at the property last Wednesday.
The man was charged with burglary, theft, handling stolen goods and dealing with proceeds of crime.
He has been bailed to appear before Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 16 February.
The woman was charged with theft in Cranbourne. She has been bailed to appear on 13 February.
