CARRUM United’s senior team continued its fight against relegation, staying in touch with the bottom four teams after a good win over Dandenong White Star.
The side’s two goals came from Mauro Cordoma and Michael Palladino.
After a slow start to the season, confidence is growing and Carrum has collected seven points from a possible nine in the past three weeks.
This weekend, Carrum takes on top-of-the-table Doveton at Waratah Reserve, Eumemmerring.
Doveton incurred its first loss at the hands of Brandon Park last weekend, and this week’s game promises to be a cracker.
