Cement spill traps truck driver

A 28-YEAR-OLD Narre Warren man was trapped in a cement mixer truck after it tipped over in Keysborough last week.
The mixer overturned after it hit a traffic light pole at the intersection of Hutton and Perry Roads about 6.45am last Friday.
Keysborough Park Fire Brigade, Dandenong Rescue, police, ambulances and VicRoads were called to the scene.
The male driver was released from the cement mixer and taken to the Alfred Hospital with serious injuries.
At the time of the accident, the mixer was carrying a full load of cement, some of which spilled out onto the road.
