AN ANTI-GRAFFITI initiative aimed at improving the appearance of Noble Park Railway Station will begin early next year.
A $25,000 Department of Infrastructure-funded project will see the development of an artistic treatment for the station’s underpass.
Greater Dandenong mayor Youhorn Chea said internationally recognised artist Anu Patel would provide the facelift.
Patel has worked extensively on railway station art projects throughout England.
Patel will create two works to be put on display at various locations in Noble Park in December.
The community will be asked to provide feedback and vote for the design they prefer via a special hotline.
