COOMOORA Primary School students used their musical talents to spread the Christmas spirit around Parkmore Shopping Centre lasts week.
About 25 students from Years 4 and 5 visited the centre on Friday to perform carols.
Of the students, 20 were with the Coomoora Primary choir, while the rest played guitar after having learned the instrument under the guidance of student wellbeing officer Jesse Taylor.
Assistant principal Chris Toth had trained the choir and said that students had been preparing for the moment all of term four.
“They are very excited, they invited their parents to come and watch them as well,” Ms Toth told Star.
“The purpose is to celebrate Christmas, and the fact that they are in a choir or playing an instrument makes the performance aspect important as well.”
Coomoora Primary School is located in Springvale South.
