POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a serious assault outside a Dandenong nightspot on Saturday, 13 August.
Two men in their early 30s sustained injuries following a fight that occurred shortly after 3am outside the Cauldron nightclub near the corner of Foster and Pultney Streets.
One man was taken to hospital with cracked ribs and a broken nose while the other man received bruising.
Police said about 10 men of Maori appearance were involved in the assaults, and have asked anyone with any information to phone Senior Constable Peita Caller of Dandenong CIU on 9767 7487 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
THREE men were assaulted by five men at the Dandenong train station on Sunday, 14 August in what police say was an unprovoked attack.
A 19yearold boy received a fractured eye socket during the fight, which occurred between 1.30am and 2am, while the other two men sustained bruising.
