A DANDENONGbrothel will be extended after council agreed to accept the business’ application this week.
Councillors also passed an application to turn an existing industrial building in Keysborough into a professional wrestling complex.
The uncommon items were sprawled out through an agenda of routine planning applications for residential and industrial works.
The brothel at 26 Rhur Street, Dandenong will extend its building to allow for new toilets, a reception, a new entrance and a waiting room.
Council received no objections to the application.
Meanwhile, Professional Championship Wrestling has found a home in a Keysborough industrial zone.
Proposed use of the 1/12 Kempson Court site will be to train junior and senior wrestlers and allow for twice-a-month tournaments.
Up to 40 people will be allowed on the site at one time, and the council has permitted the group to apply for an on-site only liquor licence.
Council forwarded a copy of the application on to Dandenong Police for comment, and advertised the proposal, but received no objections.
