THE DANDENONG Panthers men’s and women’s cricket teams will be honoured by the City of Greater Dandenong in a civic reception at the Dandenong council offices tonight (Thursday).
The Panthers men’s team won the prestigious Victorian Premier Championship a month ago for the first time in the club’s 31-year history in the Premier division.
The Panthers women’s team has won successive flags over the past four years.
Mayor Youhorn Chea is expected to declare Greater Dandenong the sporting capital of the south east, with the Panthers just one of many successful sporting teams.
