A KEYSBOROUGH man whose disappearance last Friday sparked a public appeal from police has been located safe and well.
Police were concerned for the welfare of David Pannell, 52, after he left work at 3.45pm on Friday 8 June.
They said Mr Pannell had worked in William Street in Melbourne’s CBD for the last 34 years and was known to have a regular routine.
Police said Mr Pannell told a colleague he would see him on the Tuesday after the Queen’s Birthday long weekend. So when he failed to arrive home at his Liverpool Drive house on Friday night, police appealed for anyone with information on Mr Pannell’s whereabouts to come forward.
But police said that on Saturday 9 June at 3pm, Mr Pannell phoned his family to pick him up from Pakenham.
Police said Mr Pannell was located safe and well by family members.
