STUDENTS, parents and teachers at St Anthony’s Primary School celebrated Harmony Day with pride last week.
The Noble Park school held its celebrations on Tuesday 8 April.
The day began with the raising of the Australian flag as the entire school community sang the national anthem.
This was followed by a parade where children, families, and community members marched through the school grounds proudly displaying the flags of their countries of origin.
The day continued with prayer, sporting activities and a barbecue lunch.
Harmony Day is a Federal Government initiative to unite Australians from all backgrounds to live in cultural harmony.
