The masters of Dandenong’s manufacturing sector gave candid accounts of their first steps in the business world in front of fellow businesspeople, students and educators last week. Like many a business in its infancy, HM Gem Engines’ Bruce Parker (right) and Jayco Corporation’s Gerry Ryan (left) joined bus magnate Ken Grenda and GBC Scientific Equipment’s Ron Grey in sharing their trials and tribulations establishing their businesses.
