DANDENONG detectives are investigating the cause of a fire that devastated an abandoned house in Dandenong last week.
On Sunday, 28 May at 7.15am, firefighters from Dandenong and Hallam rushed to a blaze at a single-storey dwelling in New Street, Dandenong.
The rear of the building was destroyed by the fire and firefighters said that the house was unoccupied and been squatted in over the past two years.
Dandenong CIU is now investigating the cause of the fire.
