GREATER Dandenong council has revamped its courtesy bus route as part of a six month trial to transport more people to the town’s major activity points.
The new route will see the bus depart from Dandenong Train Station up Robinson Street, through Thomas Street, then Clow Street, followed by Cleeland Street .
It will stop at council offices, the library and Dandenong Market.
It will then travel along David Street, down Stud Road where it will loop the Dandenong Plaza picking up and dropping off shoppers.
After the plaza, the courtesy bus will head down McRae and Walker streets, crossing paths with Langhorne and Lonsdale streets before heading back to the station.
Greater Dandenong council business liaison officer Kay Moran said the new route was one way of helping residents utilise all that Dandenong has to offer.
