A 21YEAROLD Dandenong man was critically injured in a car crash in Noble Park early on Sunday morning.
He was involved in a twocar collision at the intersection of Corrigan Road and Noble Street about 2.30am.
The man was trapped in his white Holden Commodore before he was extricated by the CFA’s Dandenong Rescue Crew and taken to The Alfred hospital with life threatening injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle was a 28yearold Heatherton man. He was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The black Nissan XTrail he was driving was extensively damaged.
The Commodore hit and demolished a traffic light pole in the collision.
The two men were the sole occupants of their vehicles.
Other emergency services on the scene included the Noble Park CFA pumper, police, traffic light maintenance crews and ambulance.
