A NOBLE PARK man required medical assistance after a small explosion in a residential garage last weekend.
At 9am on Saturday, firefighters, police and paramedics were called to an explosion at a rear garage of a property in Leman Crescent, Noble Park.
Noble Park firefighters believe the explosion was sparked by a hot water service’s pilot light after it came into contact with gas leaking from a barbecue gas bottle.
A male occupant was treated on site by paramedics.
Firefighters said the garage also contained highly flammable paints.
