VICTORIAN fine food and wine companies impressed Greater Dandenong’s Italian community with a riveting taste test session of their products.
Members of the Italian community flocked to the Italo-Australian Club’s Villa Adrianna room to savour a variety of flavours from the Victorian companies.
Last week winemaker De Bortoli, olive oil maker Cobram Estate and cheesemaker Blue Bay Cheese offered lengthy sample sessions of their best products for the club’s members, and also sales of their products for those who wanted more than just a taste.
De Bortoli Wines area manager Robert Guerrini said the day was a great way for the Italian community to sample the company’s range of wines, and cap it off with a free meal – a bowl of pasta.
