A RED plastic lounge on the corner of Langhorne and Walker streets sits neatly outside the Drum Theatre just wanting to make an impact.
The striking seat is part of a beautification plan by the City of Greater Dandenong, which will see a series of visual improvements around the city.
Jenny Pemerton-Webb, Greater Dandenong’s place manager for the revitalisation of central Dandenong project, said the seat was already creating chatter among shoppers and locals walking by it.
“In partnership with VicUrban, we will start seeing a number of initiatives set in place across the city over the next 12 months including the dressing up of vacant shop windows,” she said.
