A COUCH stuck in a doorway posed a challenge for Springvale State Emergency Service (SES) workers last week.
The members had just finished night-time training on Monday when they received a call at 9.30pm to a rather unusual job in Kelvinside Road, Noble Park.
A crew of five SES members attended and discovered a couch wedged tightly into the doorway standing upright.
Crew member Lisa Pountney said workers unfortunately had to pull apart the couch to free it from its door jamb.
She said no-one was injured during the rather cosy job.
