Sophia Lo Piccolo from St John’s Regional College was selected for a scholarship program at the Melbourne Theatre Company. YEAR nine student at St John’s Regional College Sophia Lo Piccolo was given a chance to live her dream when she spent a week with the Melbourne Theatre Company.
She was one of just 24 students from throughout Victoria to be selected for a fiveday youth scholarship course during the September school holidays.
The course looked at ways to create a groupdevised performance and also focused on developing and understanding dramatic structure, tension and characterisation.
