Having its premiere last Friday, West Side Story is a tale about one of human kind’s most tragic circumstances – forbidden love – and is based loosely on William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.
The show includes classy dancing, spectacular costumes and well-orchestrated lighting, along with a playlist of familiar songs.
West Side Story will be at the Drum Theatre until 23 September, with the next performance this Friday at 8pm.
