LINK awards honour trainees

APPRENTICES and trainees from Melbourne’s south eastern suburbs and beyond have been honoured in a special ceremony in Greater Dandenong this week.
People who have made significant changes to their lives through courses provided by LINK Employment and Training tonight graduated in a ceremony at the Freccia Azzura Club in Springvale.
Star News Group and LINK Employment and Training have produced this special feature to honour the work of both LINK and the young people it trains.
The 2008 awards expand upon the previous year’s, with a total of 12 winners, including 10 across both Training and Group Training categories, and two employer awards.
LINK Employment and Training is an incorporated not-for-profit organisation committed to providing quality employment services and vocational training to people and businesses.
It was established in 1984 as the Dandenong Western Port Group Training Scheme Incorporated before changing its name to LINK Employment and Training in 1996.
