MISSIONS Australia has joined local businesses to set up its Youth Connections program with the help of a consortium of local businesses including TaskForce Community Agency Inc., William Angliss Institute, LINK Employment and Training Inc. and Southern Health business units.
Youth Connections is a program funded by the Federal Government and aims to provide a safety net for young people at risk of not finishing high school or the equivalent. The program can also help young people make the transition to further study, work or training to help them maintain wellbeing and positive choices. The program aims to be flexible by providing case-by-case care.
The South East Youth Connections program has a central intake and assessment number – 1800 335 106 – the number to call with referrals or for additional information.
