BOOKINGS for the major function involving central Dandenong retailers close tomorrow.
The Dandenong Retail Traders’ Association (DRTA) annual general meeting and business awards dinner will be held at the Dandenong Club, Heatherton Road Dandenong, on 30 November from 6.30pm.
Peter Simcock, a former editor of the Dandenong Journal, will be the guest speaker and the winners of the DRTA annual business awards will be announced.
DRTA chairperson Roy Aspinall urged all retailers to come to the dinner to hear the guest speaker and enjoy networking with fellow retailers.
“These are exciting awards which will recognise the many facets of retailing in central Dandenong,” he said.
The three-course dinner costs $60 per person, with some drinks included and others available at bar prices.
DRTA members receive one free ticket as part of their membership but they must still make a booking for catering purposes. Members who fail to book will be taken as non-attendees.
Anyone who has special dietary requirements must indicate when making their booking.
